Terms

These terms cover every purchase, licence and download from Scriptyard. By buying a plugin or theme, you agree to them.

The store and the merchant

Plugins and themes are sold through Scriptyard. Payments, invoices and sales tax are handled by Polar.sh, which acts as the merchant of record. Polar's terms also apply to your checkout.

Your purchase

Each product page shows the price for each plan, the WordPress version it requires, the latest WordPress version it was tested with, and the PHP requirement. Prices are in US dollars and are charged once a year for each plan. When you complete a checkout, you receive a licence key and a download link by email, and the purchase appears under your account.

Licence and subscription

Your purchase is a yearly licence for the number of sites on your plan. The licence unlocks updates and support for those sites for one year from purchase, and it can be renewed for another year at any time. Where a renewal is set up as a subscription, it renews automatically at the yearly price until you cancel. You can cancel from your Polar customer portal or by contacting us; cancelling stops the next renewal, and the licence keeps working until the end of the year you have paid for.

When a licence has ended, the plugin or theme keeps working, but updates, downloads and support stop until you renew.

Each licence key is for you and your sites. Do not share a key with anyone else, and do not use one key on more sites than your plan allows. You can move a site slot by deactivating a site from your account.

The code

The code of each plugin and theme is licensed under the GNU General Public License. Your licence key does not restrict the rights the GPL gives you to the code. See the license page for the details.

No guarantee of fit

We build and test each plugin and theme before release, and we do our best to keep it working. We cannot promise that it suits your site, your hosting or your security needs. You are responsible for reviewing the code, keeping WordPress and PHP up to date, and backing up your site.
